ASCOC - Automotive Services Consumer Opinion Council - was established in 1999. The founders of the company did so based on the premise of giving a voice to automotive consumers and a conduit in which to communicate service experiences to the service provider. Given the fact that 67% of customers who change service providers do so based on an attitude of indifference by the service provider, there is an ample opportunity for Automotive Service Providers to bridge the gap in customer relations and improve retention.

ASCOC prides itself on offering a service that virtually pays for itself. Our system provides an easy way to communicate with guests that may otherwise have been lost due to a poor service experience. We give those guests a voice and give the service provider an easy way to listen and resolve the issue. Reducing the customer defection rate by a small 5%, profits generally increase anywhere from 25% - 125% depending on the industry.

What?
ASCOC offers clients two different services: 1) Guest Feedback and Monitoring Services and 2) Consumer and Market Research Studies.

How?
Our Council is made up of over 1,000,000 members who have opted to take part in various automotive and other market research studies. These members are made up of automotive consumers nationwide, and are reached by broadcasting surveys to find out what level of service they are receiving and what might be missing or untapped. We want to learn what else automotive service suppliers could be doing to sustain longtime loyal customers, bring in new believers and build profitable businesses.

Why?
So many operators make decisions off their own understanding of their business without pulling in the insight of the end user. Our customers are supporting our business, but are we listening to our customers? ASCOC was designed to correct this oversight. We want to aid operators in determining the impact on the market’s perception, of brand, advertising schemes, product satisfaction and in-store performance using continuous feedback and research to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

To join the needs and desires of the automotive consumer to those decision makers in the service industry. Times change and consumers change as we are immersed in our business. The ASCOC helps keep our clients up to date and abreast of these changes.
